BMW Adaptive Suspension
BMW has taken the time to create a way for each driver to control their BMW better while driving, not sure if it was possible, but apparently, it is. The Adaptive M Suspension allows the driver to adjust their BMW's ride to meet their driving needs and wants. The different modes give drivers options, and once behind the wheel, the system is straightforward and simple to use.
The three different modes to choose from include comfort, sport, and sport plus. If you are someone that enjoys a more laid-back and relaxed ride, then comfort mode is the right choice for you. This is achieved by allowing the dampers to move in an unbalanced way, thus the soft ride. Even though the dampers allow an unbalanced suspension set up, they will still act when they need to make sure the driver has control. When sport mode is activated, the dampers will tighten up with less travel, causing the vehicle to handle and corner with greater precision. However, the ride becomes a bit harsher. Sport plus mode takes everything to a whole other level, where the dampers become extremely tight with limited travel; however, the result is a vehicle that can handle and corner like nothing else on the road.
