How to Program BMW Key to Start Car at Edmonton BMW

Programming a New Key from The Beginning
- Insert the key into the ignition and turn it to position 1 and back rapidly 5 times
- Next remove the key completely
- Press and hold the unlock button and then press the BMW logo 3 times
- Release the unlock button
- Turn the ignition on to complete the process
Programming More Than One Key
- Make sure to have the working BMW key with you
- Take all the keys that need to be programmed
- Come inside the vehicle and make sure doors and windows are closed
- Put the key into the ignition and turn to position 1
- The dash lights should turn on
- Turn the key back and remove it
- Pick up the working key and hold down the unlock button and press the BMW logo 3 times
- Release the unlock button. The doors should automatically unlock.
- Take the key you inserted in step 4 and hold down the unlock button while pressing the BMW logo 3 times.
- Release the unlock button. All done!
